Introduction

Sample cards from each set are shown below, followed by download links, and listings of the words covered by each set. Primary words are the words specifically taught (underlined) in the lesson. Secondary words may also be taught, but the student will likely learn them over time as you teach the primary words. Plan each lesson to take about 1.5 - 2 hours, and be sure to take breaks during that time.

Teaching ESL can be a real challenge. There are a lot of great book and references out there though to help ESL teachers with their jobs. I've included links to several great books, resources and references here. Be sure that at least one or two find their way onto your bookshelf.
